Joseph "Joe" Aloysius Eftink

Joseph A. “Joe” Eftink, 83, of Oran passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on Aug. 26, 1935 in Portageville, Missouri to the late Herman and Cecelia Strack Eftink. He married Mary Ann Carter Halter on April 2, 1983 and she survives of the home.

Joe was a retired line worker for Columba Sportswear in Chaffee. He was of the Catholic Faith. He was a member of Chaffee Elks Lodge # 1810.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann; four sons, Russell Eftink of St. Joseph, Michigan; David Eftink of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida; James Eftink and Ronald Eftink both of Metropolis, Illinois; two daughters, Robyn Bylee of Oak Grove, Kentucky; Susan Kluesner of Chaffee;three step-sons, Glen Fisk of Chaffee; William Halter of Cape Girardeau; John Halter of Apopka, Florida; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter, five step-grandchildren and a step-great-grandchild. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded by a step-daughter, three brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call after 12:00 pm until time of service on Monday, June 10th at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

Funeral Service will be 3:30 pm at the Chapel with Rev. Glenn Eftink as celebrant. Burial will be at Friend Cemetery in Oran.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
