Alice Moore

Alice Nadine Moore, 79 of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Sunday, September 19, 2021 at her home.  She was born July 28. 1942 in Fornfelt, Missouri to George Nathan and Stella Mae Holder Dodson.  She married Fred E. Moore and he preceded her in death.

She was a courier for the Federal Reserve. She previously owned Moore’s Tax Service in Scott City and was an Avon consultant for many years.  She attended Cape First in Cape Girardeau.

She is survived by three sons, Clay (Amy) Moore of Vancleave, Mississippi, David Moore of Cape Girardeau and Jason (Debra) Moore of Springfield, Missouri; a daughter, Christine (Craig) Wooldridge of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Margie Keller of Scott City; thirteen grandchildren; Eighteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Glenn & Emery Dodson and three sisters, Catherine Thompson, Mary Pulliam and Patty Dodson.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm on Thursday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday at the chapel.

Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
