Carolyn Schaefer

Carolyn Schaefer, 71, of Bell City, MO passed away June 24, 2017 at the family home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 2, 1946 in Rockview, MO to George and Betty Jane Moit. She married Cleo Schaefer on July 10, 1965 and he survives of the home.

Carolyn was a home maker in her own home. She was a member of Chaffee V.F.W. Post 3127 and American Legion Post 389. She loved spending time with her family and friends especially playing Bingo.

She is survived by her husband, Cleo Schaefer of Bell City; two sons, Cleo Schaefer Jr. of Bell City; Arthur Schaefer of Cape Girardeau, MO; two daughters, Robin Romanowski of Hutto, TX; LaRee Faye Schaefer of Pflugerville, TX; her father George Moit Sr. of Benton, MO; a brother, George Moit Jr. of Benton, MO; a sister, Teresa Jackson of Hayti, MO; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jane Moit and her sister, Betty Sue Moit.

Friends may call after 4:00 pm on Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
