Don Ray Ward

Don Ray Ward, 69, of Oran passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born on July 24, 1948 in Hiram, Missouri to the late Folk and Bessie Wheeling Ward.

Don was a retired self-employed carpet installer. He loved to watch Nascar, Cardinals baseball and Kentucky Wildcats basketball. He was a member of Oran First Baptist Church in Oran. He served in the United States Army.

He is survived by a son, Justin Ward of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; three daughters, Angela (Larry) Boshell of Oran; Jennifer Riley of Poplar Bluff and Melissa (Rory) Ezell of Glen Allen, Missouri; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and five sisters.

Friends may call after 10:00 am until time of service on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Oran First Baptist Church in Oran.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday at the Church with Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
