William Miller

William Miller, son of the late Donald C. Miller and Nellie McCulley Miller was born on November 29, 1942 in Dutchtown, Missouri and departed his life on Monday, December 12, 2022 at his residence in Chaffee, Missouri at the age of 80 years.

He was a Union Laborer for many years but his passion was training Thoroughbred racehorses.   Mr. Miller was a member of the First Christian Church in Chaffee.

In March of 1966 he was united in marriage to Phyllis Ann Held in Chaffee.  Mrs. Miller preceded him in death on February 10, 2022.

Survivors include one son, Tony Miller of Mr. Vernon, Indiana, by two daughters, Billie Carlton of Plain Field, Indiana and Genni Ourth (fiancé Charles Thomas) of Chaffee; nine grandchildren, Courtney (Caleb) Koehler, Tori (Corey) Drum, Hunter Ourth, Austin (Masey) Carlton, Clayton Carlton, and Charlie Carlton; also, by six grandchildren, Annistyn Koehler, Holland Koehler, Wyatt Koehler, Camden Koehler, Piper Carlton, Crew Carlton, and (McCoy Scott Drum due in January 2023).

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death the noble mother that raised him from the age of four Beryl Miller; by one son-in-law, Brian Ourth; and by one brother, Donald Miller.
