Willa Zimmerman

Willa Lee Zimmerman, 85 of Scott City, Missouri died Monday, September 12, 2022 at her home.  She was born January 3, 1937 in Delta, Missouri to Freeman and Eloise Valerie Deweese Swindell.   She married Lloyd Eugene Zimmerman on April 7, 1956 and he preceded her in death on December 27, 2004.

She lived a simple life, some of her greatest memories were visiting with family and friends.  She liked antiquing with her sister Soundra.  She had a vast collection of vintage salt and pepper shakers.  Her favorite snack was Butterfingers and Strawberry Crush soda.

She is survived by a son, Daniel Zimmerman of Scott City; a granddaughter, Victoria Beachler; two great granddaughters, Della and Amelia; two brothers, John and Mark Zimmerman and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son, Michael Zimmerman; a sister, Soundra Eifert and two brothers, Jimmy and Kenny Zimmerman.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the Assembly of God Church in Scott City with Rev. Randy Morse officiating.
