Wilburn Leo Smith

Wilburn “Leo” Smith, son of the late Wilburn Edward Smith and Rose Marie “Keller” Smith was born May 9, 1946 in Missouri and departed his life on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at his residence at the age of 77 years.

On May 26, 2013 he Married Ruby Edwards in Alabama. She survives.

Also surviving are one son: Leo Smith of Alabama; one daughter: Connie Smith of Alabama; one step-son: Mike (Tabby) Jones of Chaffee, Missouri; one step-daughter: Charlene Fitzgerald of Hollister, Missouri; two brothers: Larry “Donnie” (LaDonna) Smith of Frohna, Missouri, Gary Dale Smith of Jackson, Missouri; two sisters: Brenda McClain of Oran, Missouri, Patsy Smith of Oak Ridge, Missouri; four grandsons; eight step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and give step-great children.

Apart from his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister: Zettie Smith; one brother: Bobby Joe Smith and two step-children: Charlie Jones and John Fitzgerald.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the Old Salem Cemetery in Millersville, Missouri.
