Wanda Anita Daugherty

Wanda Anita Daugherty, daughter of the late Noal and Izada (Holman) Cowell was born November 25, 1931 in Lamar, Arkansas and departed her life on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 91 years.

On August 11, 1951 she married W.M. “Billy Mac” Daugherty Sr. He preceded her in death on January 9, 2004.

Survivors include two sons: Bob (Laura Ruth) Daugherty of Frohna, Missouri, Dan (Susan) Daugherty of Jackson, Missouri; one daughter: Susan (Michael) Schwartz of Chaffee, Missouri; one daughter-in-law: Karla Seyer of Austin, Texas; three sisters: Loretta, Linda, Sandra; two brothers: Anthony; Dean; and eight grandchildren: twenty-five great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and two precious puppies: Teddy and Zada.

Apart from her parents, she was preceded in death by one son: William M. “Billy” Daugherty Jr.; three brothers: Charles, Eldon, Glen and on one sister that passed at birth.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 25th, 2023 from 10:00am until 11:00am at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Missouri. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am with J.T. Thomason officiating. Burial will follow at the Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee, Missouri.
