Wade Robert

Wade Charles Robert, 84 of Kelso, Missouri died February 9, 2020 at his home. He was born December 8, 1935 in Kelso, Missouri to Eugene P. and Irene Clara Schlosser Robert. He married Judith Marie Brockmire on April 26, 1984 in Kelso. She preceded him in death on March 10, 2002.

Wade was a farmer. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso and American Legion in Sikeston, Missouri. He served eight years in Army National Guard.

He is survived by two step sons, Gary (Donna) McClard, Jr. of Jackson, Missouri and Chuck (Tracy) McClard of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; a stepdaughter, Teri (Rex) Carter of Kentucky; four grandchildren, Shianne Newell, Alexis McClard, Ann Marie McClard and Garrett McClard;  a sister, Mrs. Arthur “Dottie” Bruce of Oran; a niece, Laurie (Tom) Romas of Oran, Missouri and four great nephews, Michael, Cody, Christopher and Nicholas Romas.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish rosary will be at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Missouri with Rev. Michael Casteel as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in Kelso.
