Wade Keesee

December 6, 1992 — June 12, 2021

Wade Keesee

Wade Robert Keesee, son of Monty and Michelle Keesee, was born on December 6, 1992  in Santa Ana, California, but was raised on one hundred acres of “his own heaven” in Scott City, Missouri that overlooked the Mississippi River. He was the biggest family man, a husband of 10 years, a father, a son, a brother, and a best friend to many.  Wade’s time on this earth was cut short on Saturday, June 12, 2021 by doing what he loved at the age of 28.

He had a Construction Management degree from Southeast Missouri State University.

He was a crane operator and millwright who was employed by Industrial Systems of Cape Girardeau, Missouri where he managed multi-million dollar projects.

In his free time he loved to spend time with his family and his two dogs, Dixie and Copper. His hobbies included back porch sitting and grilling with his wife, wood and metal working projects, fishing with his sons, swinging on his childhood swingset and putting his arm around his mother telling her “it’ll be alright”, riding any type of ATV, mudding in his truck, tinkering in his shop with his dad, and being outdoors. HIs children were his pride and joy, they were always able to bring a smile to his face.

There was nothing Wade liked better than an interesting conversation with a good friend or family member. Wade could have an engaging conversation with anyone. He lived every moment to the fullest. HIs carefree, fun-loving attitude drew everyone to him. His spirit allowed all to feel welcome. Wade loved his family and grew into an amazing husband and father. HIs legacy will be the joy he brought to others, his love of nature and family and his ability to be a friend to all.

Apart from his parents, Wade is survived by his beautiful, loving wife, Rebecca Lynn Keesee (Holder); sons Riker Wade Keesee (9); Beau Andru Keesee (5) . One sister; Heather Marie Keesee . Cousins/Sisters Amanda Rose Oleson and Logan Michelle Oleson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Sisters- in-law; Tricia (Joey) Dale, Cari (Justin) Hearn, and Julie Holder of Scott City, Missouri. Grandparents; Robert and Janet Keesee, Everett and MARY Holder. Father and Mother in Laws; Terry and Sandy Holder and Tami and Adam Moore and step grandfather, David Dattilo. His California Family and all his aunts, uncles, many nieces and nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his great grandmothers, Mamie Mileski and Mary Keesee, his great grandfather William Keesee, his grandmother Linda Lyons,  his great uncle Doug August his aunt, Deanna Oleson, his uncles Matthew Brooks and Rick Holder. Cousin Darren Bradshaw and Greg August; brother-in-law Dru Holder.
