Violet Lashmet

Violet Marie Lashmet, 72 of Scott City, Missouri died Friday, March 31, 2023 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  She was born October 5, 1950 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Charles Oscar and Violet Parmer.  She married James Fred Lashmet on August 29, 1970.

She worked as a custodian for SEMO University and She was a member of Eagles Club in Cape Girardeau.

She is survived by her husband, James; a brother, Doyle Parmer of Cape Girardeau and a sister, Ruth Ann Parmer of Puxico.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Richie Lashmet on September 12, 2009.

Visitation will be from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm on Monday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday at the chapel with Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating.

Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
