Victor Duaine Collier

Victor Duaine Collier, 83 of Lilbourn, Missouri died Thursday, September 19, 2024 at his home.  He was born May 24, 1941 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to Victor Collier and Geneva Maxfield Collier.  He married Linda Helen Tollison on April 1,1966 in Matthews, Missouri and she preceded him in death on June 30, 2022.

He was a teacher at Matthews and Lilbourn, Missouri and a principal at Hazen and Lepanto, Arkansas from 1965 through 1980.  In 1981 he went to work for Noranda Aluminum as a Lab Tech for 21 years.

He is survived by three sons, James (Christine) Collier of Kewanee, Missouri, Chris (Kelley) Collier of New Madrid, Missouri and Brent (Christina) Collier of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; two brothers, Darrell (Lois) Collier of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Harold (Chris) Collier of Marion, Illinois; three sisters, Bertie Hinkle of Van Buren, Arkansas, Florence (Larry) Rodgers of Batesville, Arkansas and Veva Sowell of Bartlett, Tennessee; eleven grandchildren, Damian Collier, Devin Collier, Andrew Collier, Alec Collier, Austin Collier, Lindsey Collier, Eli Collier, Jeremiah Collier, Madison Smith, Chloe Smith and Lucas Smith and twelve great grandchildren, Colt, Ora, Zoey, Matthew, Victoria, Bonnie, Willow, Cash, Jansen, Alora, Harley and Brantley.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William and Lawrence and a granddaughter, Erin Pipkin.

There will be a celebration of life at his home with family and friends at 3:00 pm on October 5, 2024.
