Vicki Marlene Whistler

Vicki Marlene Whistler, daughter of Harvey Leonard and Arna Jean Dorsey Davis was born on July 29, 1948 in Borger, Texas and departed this life on September 21, 2019 in Houston, Texas at the age of 71 years.

Mrs. Whistler was united in marriage to Stephen P Whistler on February 8, 1969 and he preceded her in death on August 27, 2011.

She is survived by her daughter, Sara (Corey) Alexander; three granddaughters, Lily, Sophie and Isabel Alexander; six nieces, Terri (Daryl) McDonald, Deana (Scott) McBroom, Angela (Don) Schaefer, Nan (Charlie) Charleston, Ann Whistler, and Michelle (Matt) Holder. Seven nephews, Donnie Davis, Danny Davis, John Davis, Jim Whistler, Neil Whistler, Adam Welker and Vernon Langford.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Stephen, her beloved siblings; brother, Harvey Leonard Davis Jr. and sister, Glenna Pearl Langford, and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Missouri. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel with Father Randy Tochtrop officiating. Interment will follow at St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery in Chaffee, Missouri.
