Vincent Happy Miller

Vincent “HAPPY” Miller, son of the late Vincent P. Miller and Dorothy R. Blattel Miller was born on April 17, 1945 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed his life on Saturday, June 26, 2021 in Scott City, Missouri at the age of 76 years.

Happy was a former employee of Southeast Stone and West Lake Quarry.

Survivors include one son, David (Barb) Miller of Scott City, Missouri; by two daughters, Cheryl (John) Newell of Oak Ridge, Missouri and Holly Miller of Scott City, Missouri; by four brothers, Larry Miller, Tommy (Anna) Miller, and Dennis Miller all of Scott City, and by Paul Miller of Jackson, Missouri; By three sisters, Carol Ann (John) Fath of Scott City, Barbara (Jim) Payne of Scott City, and Marilyn (Jim) Craiglow of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Helen Miller.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 12:30 until 2:00 P.M. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.  Funeral services will the be conducted on Monday at 2:00 P.M. in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City with Rev. Randy Morse officiating.  Interment will follow in the Lightner Cemetery.
