Veronica Anderson

Veronica Mae Anderson, daughter of the late Howard and Mae (Elliott) Kohl was born December 30, 1937 in Harvard, Illinois and departed her life on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at home surrounded by family at the age of 85.

Mrs. Anderson was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rockford, Illinois.

On May 4, 1958, she married Glenn Anderson, he preceded her in death on January 13, 2023.

She is survived by one son: Chuck (Brenda) Anderson of Scott City, Missouri; two daughters: Karen Schloff of Rockford, Illinois, Kris Borgmann of Leaf River, Illinois one brother: Howard Kohl of Ohio; one sister Geraldine Zimmerman of Bettendorf, Iowa; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and many nieces and nephews.

Apart from her parents and her husband. She was preceded in death by one infant son: Charles Anderson; one brother: Richard Kohl; one son-in-law: Scott Schloff.

There will be a Graveside Service, on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City, Missouri with Rev. Barry Pfanstiel officiating.

The family request memorials be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Rockford, Illinois. 200 North First Street, Rockford, Illinois, 61107
