Veona Wooldridge

Veona Wooldridge, 99, of Chaffee, Mo passed away Dec. 30th 2018 at Holiday Residential Care in Perryville, Mo.

She was born on August 23, 1919 in Kurreville, Mo to the late Elick Andrew and Dora Ann Bollinger Moore. She married Gladys M. Wooldridge on Nov. 6, 1939.

Veona was a retired machine operator for Florsheim Shoe Co. Chaffee, Mo for 16yrs
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Delta.

She is survived by three sons, Gilbert (Jeanette) Wooldridge of Cape Girardeau; William (Joann) Wooldridge of Florissant, Missouri and Ron Wooldridge of Cape County, Missouri; five grandchildren, Craig (Christy) Wooldridge; Wendy (Keith) Cooper; Carrie (Lewis) Mendez; Ryan (Becky) Wooldridge and Clayton (Pam) Wooldridge; 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by, four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call after 11:00 am until time of service on Wednesday, Jan. 2,2019 Amick Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Mo
Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Randy Conn officiating of First Baptist Church of Delta, Mo

Burial will be at Caney Fork Cemetery in Oak Ridge, Mo

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: First Baptist Church of Delta or Crown Hospice, of Cape Girardeau.
