Tony Legrand

Tony LeGrand, son of the late Adam LeGrand and Lorena Scherer LeGrand was born on June 20, 1935 in Benton, Missouri and departed this life on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the Delta South Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 85 years.

Mr. LeGrand retired from Procter and Gamble Company and a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the St. Denis Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and a resident of Benton, Missouri.

Survivors include three sons, Michael (Trudy) LeGrand of Brighton, Michigan, Kenneth (Heidi) LeGrand of Whitewater, Ohio, and Carl (Mary) LeGrand of Madison, Ohio; by two daughters, Yvonne LeGrand of Benton and Donna McCloud of Napoleon, Ohio; by three brothers, Ralph LeGrand of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Monroe Legrand of Benton, and David LeGrand of Jackson; by sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; also by a special friend Ms. Glenda Kelley.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Denise Bevis; by three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton. Funeral mass will be conducted on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the St. Denis Church in Benton with Rev. Bala Swamy Govindu officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Denis Cemetery with full military honors.
