Thomas Michael Smith, 76 of Scott City, Missouri died Friday, February 7, 2020 at Saint Francs Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born October 1, 1943 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to John Henry and Mary Elizabeth Lynn Smith.

He worked in housekeeping at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau. He had previously worked as custodian and bus driver for Scott City Schools. He was a member of Scott City First-Family and Youth Worship Center in Scott City. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by a brother, Jim Smith of Scott City and a sister, Mary Lee Davis of Scott City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Sunday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Monday at the Scott City First – Family and Youth Worship Center in Scott City with Rev. Larry Rouse officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery with full military honors.
