Timothy William “TNT” Tucker made his last pun and sarcastic joke, that he probably laughed at himself, on February 17 th , 2021 in Miami Beach, Florida at home. He was 64 years old.

Tim was born on October 11 th , 1956 to William and Javada Tucker. He was their “favorite child” at least until the other 5 were born, in St. Louis, Missouri. Those that stole the spotlight from him are: Benjamin Tucker, Jenifer (Wayne) Edmundson, Valerie (Joe) Dirnberger, Karen (Jim) Weinzetl-Hamke, and Sonya (Eric) Norman all currently living in Southeast Missouri.

Tim also had many nieces and nephews that he could be a bad influence on and then run back to Miami, leaving his siblings to deal with the aftermath. They are: Pam Edmundson, Cindy Edmundson, Rodney Edmundson, Brandon (Cara) Dirnberger, Amber (Trent) Walter, Carrissa (Ethen) Maddox, Bryce Dirnberger, Trent Weinzetl, Kirstin Weinzetl, Ethan Norman, and Connor Norman. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 nephews, Dennis Tucker, and Jeff Edmundson.

Tim went to Lindbergh High School in St. Louis where he was a football player for the Flyers. He liked to point out that he was still in his football shape well into his 60’s. Like any St. Louisan, he was devoted Cardinals and Blues fan for life.

He was very devoted to Anheuser-Busch products, especially Bud Light. We noticed that stocks in the company have dropped significantly in the last week, you might want to sell your shares.

Once the disco era was over, Tim packed up his polyester pants and hair spray and no longer took fashion cues from anyone. His signature look was: Black Shirt, Jeans (Black) Black Boots, and a chain to keep his wallet secure. This was a bold choice considering the fact that he decided to migrate South to Miami, Florida in 1988.

Tim loved people and was a great storyteller, which made him an amusing bartender. He worked on South Beach at the Clevelander and then the last 20+ years as the GM at Wet Willies. He loved to do the talking, but he also loved listening to other people, he was a good friend to everybody and a legend on South Beach. People were drawn to his big heart and personality. He never met a stranger or tolerated fools or injustice.

Tim took on cancer like the warrior he is and went into remission in 2008. He invited his sisters down to celebrate with him for a weekend. For once, he had to be in charge of us---Tim described this time like trying to “keep four kittens in a box”. We learned from the best!

He had many close friends’ “buddies” he called them too numerous to mention but a few are: Lori Santoro, Risa Fogel, Rusty, Herbert, Dennis, Leo, Dave, Manny, and all the crew at Wet Willies and Finnegan’s, as well as many cherished cousins, you know who you are and he thought there was no better group of mental patients to hang out with in the world than you.

Cremation has already taken place and his ashes will be scattered by friends and family and kept until they no longer match the décor.

Amick Burnett Funeral Chapel, 203 West Yoakum, Chaffee, Missouri, 63740 is in charge of his arrangements. Visitation will be on Friday, February 26 th , 2021. Family will be from 1-2pm. Friends from 2-4pm.

We would like to say a heartfelt thanks to his Miami Police Department friends for your kindness.

In memory of our dear big brother, Tim, do something he would have done: laugh, tell a pun, make someone feeling down smile, do an unexpected act of kindness to a stranger, take care of your loved ones, have a Bud Light/Dewar’s while watching a sunset on the beach, and be nice.
