Thomas Richardson

Thomas Everette Richardson, Jr., 67 of Scott City, Missouri died Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born November 12, 1951 in Gideon, Missouri to Thomas Everette and Mildred Laverne Methenia Richardson, Sr. He married Mary Louisa Wild on November 8, 1973 in Carterville, Illinois.

He was a proud Police Officer for Sikeston Department of Public Safety in Sikeston, Missouri and previously he was an officer in Cairo, Illinois.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; a son, Eric (Amber) Richardson of Scott City; and two grandchildren, Jasmine & Ethan; two brothers, Stephen (Linda) Richardson of St. Louis, Missouri and their three children and Kenny Richardson of Cairo, Illinois as well as many other loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kimberly Rose Richardson.

Memorial visitation will be from 10:00 am on Tuesday until the time of service at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the church with Rev. David Coon as celebrant.

Burial will be at a later date at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mounds, Illinois.
