Theresa Lynn Wright, daughter of Connie Williams Bennett of Illinois and the late Gilbert Carlyle was born on December 8, 1965 in Sikeston, Missouri and passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 with her precious granddaughters by her side in Scott County, Missouri at the age of 57 years.

To know her was to love her.  She was a loving mother, a wonderful wife, and a faithful friend.  She had many talents and took much pride in her work.  There wasn’t much she could not do.  If she didn’t know how to do it, she would figure it out and give it her all.  Theresa was a giver, she loved fiercely, and will be missed by so many.  Her love was endless, life was a true testament, and she was a force to be reckoned with.

Survivors include her husband, Cleo Wright; two daughters, Brittany (Joshua) Zyduck and Taylor (Cody) Tuttle whom she loved more than life; two brothers, Greg (Nikki) Carlyle and Brent (Amanda) Carlyle; by her mother and step-father, Connie (Keith) Bennett; sister-in-law, Vicki (Rod) Carroll; brother-in-law, Alan (Vicki) Wright; nieces and nephews, Dana (Josh) Hann, Beth (Alex) Friese, Josh Carroll, John Adams, Vanessa Adams, Kobe Hann, Kash Hann, Carlee and Ayden Marshall, Cameron and Chance Adams, Baily and Matt Compass, Brooke (Mike) Carlyle-Riordan, Blake (Addie) Carlyle, Dayton Compass, Cooper Carlyle, Parker Carlyle, Brandon Hunter, Rowdy and Brent Jr. Carlyle, Gracie and Rylee Burns loved and cherished grandchildren that was the light of her life, Gavin, Chloe, and Zayden Zyduck, Railyn and Harper Grace Tuttle; also, by her special family and friends Carla and Rodney Carlyle; Jan (Rick) Morgan; Julie and Kevin Upchurch, Brenda Hedges and Renee (Brad) Smithey.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Carlyle; sister-in-law Saundra Wright; her mother-in-law Carolyn Wright; brother-in-law, Richard Wright; father-in-law, Gary Wright; and granddaughter, Iris Michelle Zyduck.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 11:00 until 1:00 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.  Funeral services will then be conducted at 1:00 P.M. in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.  Interment will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery.
