Born on May 21, 1938, in Chaffee, Theon was the cherished son of Edward and Hilda (Schaefer) Enderle. He spent his formative years in Kelso where he attended school and developed a strong work ethic helping with the family farm.
In 1962, Theon embarked on a lifelong journey with his beloved wife, Carol (Hand) Enderle. Together, they settled in Scott City and established Scott City Meat Processing, a business they operated for over 30 years. In 1999, Theon began a new chapter in South Florida, where he spent 15 wonderful years. There, he cultivated deep friendships where he enjoyed dancing, gardening, and walking outdoors. Family ties eventually drew him back to Missouri in 2014, where he settled in Sikeston, reconnecting with his roots and community.
Faith played a central role in Theon’s life, and he was a devoted member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso for over 60 years, and later attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston.
Theon’s love for his family was boundless, and he found immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren. Theon was a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by his family and forever held in their hearts.
Theon is survived by two children, Jeff Enderle and wife Stacy of Frico, TX and Kristi Stearns and husband Greg of Castle Rock, CO; four grandchildren: Victoria and Sophia Enderle and Ava and Mia Stearns; a sister, Wilma (Enderle) Jones of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Leon Enderle of Kelso; two nephews: Bill Jones of Gordonville and Don Jones of Cape Girardeau; a niece Rhonda Jones of Jackson; other relatives and many friends.
