Sylvia "Jo" Brown

Sylvia Brown, daughter of the late Paul Bert Brown and Marjorie Mabrey Brown was born on September 13, 1959 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed this life on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at her residence in Whitewater, Missouri at the age of 62 years.

She was a homemaker, of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include one daughter. Jody (Michael) Lindsey of Hollister, Missouri; one grandson, Joshua Williams of Jackson, Missouri; three brothers, Bradley Brown of Allenville, Missouri, Ronald Gene Brown and Danny Ray Brown both of Whitewater, Missouri; by one sister, Hazel Joyce May of Whitewater; also, by other relatives and close friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Brown and Arlen Bert Brown; and by one sister, Roselyn Kay Jerls.

Memorial graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 in the Barks Chapel Cemetery for family.
