Susan Kay Gockel

Susan Kay Gockel, daughter to the late Richard Gordon and Mary Sue (Welker) Hink was born on September 18, 1960 in Cape Girardeau and departed her life on May 10, 2024 at Mercy Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 63 years.

She married Joseph Edmond Gockel, Jr. on January 21, 1988. He preceded her in death on March 3, 2018.

Susan is survived by a son, Anthony Hink of Scott City; two stepson, Chris Gockel and Mike Gockel; a brother, Everett (Laura) Hink of Scott City; four grandchildren, Lacey, Anthony, Koby and Hunter Hink; a Great-Granddaughter, Valkrie Hink; also surviving, a sister-in-law, Regina Hink of Advance.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine Sue Gockel and a brother, Rick Hink
