Steven Wayne Henson

May 12, 1952 - November 14, 2020

Steven Wayne Henson, was born May 12, 1952 to Lester Twain and Laura Mai (Phillips) Henson in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on November 14, 2020 at his residence in Sikeston at the age of 68 years.

Mr. Henson was a veteran of the United States Army and he had work for the Missouri Department of Corrections for over 33 years. He and his wife attended Cape First Church in Sikeston.

Mr. Henson married Carol Mae Trujillo on November 29, 1996 in Buchanan, Tennessee. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter: Peyton A. Henson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; one son: Sam Henson of Sedalia, Missouri; one stepdaughter: Kimberly Alexander Mathews of Portland, Oregon; two step sons: Ted Alexander of Fargo, North Dakota, Timmy Alexander of Dexter, Oregon, one brother: Stan Henson of Dickson, Tennessee; two cousins: Phil Bradley and Joe Bradley of Mayfield, Kentucky; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father: Lester Henson.

Internment will take place at a later date at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full Military Honors.
