Stephen Buck

Stephen Bruce Buck, 70 of Scott City, Missouri died Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri.  He was born August 9, 1952 in Cape Girardeau to Dorman L. and Georgia Smith Buck. He married Linda Zuck in 1984 and she preceded in him in death.

He worked as a railroad clerk for 40 years and a day for Union Pacific.  He was of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by two brothers, Vernon (Olivia) Buck of Honolulu, Hawaii and George (Cinda) Buck of Claremore, Oklahoma; two sisters, Barbara (Gary) McIntyre of Cape Girardeau and Carol Swinford of Chaffee; a sister-in-law, Bessie Buck of Jackson and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Kenneth and three sisters, Jeanette, Linda and Margaret.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am – 11:00 on Monday, June 19 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am at the chapel with Rev. Ed Rhodes officiating.

Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce, MO
