Stanley Stepak
Stanley Stepak, son of the late, Antoni Stepak and Teresa Jarosz was born on September 10, 1927 in Wegrzewo, Poland and departed this life of Monday, January 25, 2021 at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 93 years.
Mr. Stepak, was a former tool and die machinist for Chrysler Manufacturing in Cleveland, Ohio and a Veteran of Polish Army serving under the British Command. He was a member of the St. Joseph catholic Church and a resident of Scott City, Missouri.
On September 30, 1975 he was united in marriage to Maria Zastawny in Cleveland, Ohio. Mrs. Stepak survives of the home in Scott City.
Besides his wife, survivors include four sons, Stanley Stepak, Steve Stepak, Michael Stepak, and Adam Stepak; by four daughters, Suzy Bird, Alina Castillo, Malgorzata Dinsenmeyer, and Eva Obirek; also, by thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be held Friday January 29, 2021 from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City. Eucharist services will then be held at 11:00 A.M. with Father Michael Casteel officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in Kelso.
