Spencer M. Stratman

Spencer Stratman, son of the late Marvin Stratman and Mary Ann Wagster Stratman was born on October 31, 1959 in Kennett, Missouri and departed his life on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at his residence in Scott City, Missouri at the age of 61 years.

Mr. Stratman was a former employee of Noranda Aluminum in New Madrid, Missouri and a resident of Scott City.

Survivors include two sons, Marcus (Ashli) Stratman of New Orleans and Spencer Michael Stratman of Kelso, Missouri; by one step-son Corey Taylor of Scott City, Missouri; one step-daughter, Erika Taylor of Kelso, Missouri; by four brothers, Steve Stratman, Shon Stratman, Scott Stratman, and Slade Stratman; by eight grandchildren, Marcus Stratman Jr., Madison Rauscher, Kadin Stratman, Karoline Young, Layla Taylor, Eisley Taylor, Stella Taylor, and Mavery Taylor.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Brandy LaCole Stratman on March 13, 1999 and by one sister, Mary Elaine Stratman.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, Missouri. Family has requested that Scott City Rams or Cardinals attire be worn to memorial.
