Sharon Lee Probst

Sharon Lee Probst, daughter of the late Gerald and Betty (Ritchie) Coleman was born August 8, 1951 in El Paso, Texas, and departed her life on December 7, 2022 at her residence in East Cape Girardeau, Illinois surrounded by family at the age of 71 years.

On February 17, 2017 she married Ronnie Probst in McClure, Illinois. He survives.

Apart from her husband, she is survived by one step-son, Dale (Tina) Probst of Jackson, Missouri; two step-daughters, Machelle (Jamey Chiles)  Probst of McClure, Illinois; Kristi (David) of Marquand, Missouri; one bonus daughter, Crystal Dillow of Olive Branch, Illinois; four brothers, Jerry Coleman of Jackson, Missouri; Garry (Amy) Coleman of Marquand, Missouri; Freddy (Jannette) Coleman of Chaffee, Missouri; Larry (Shawna) Coleman of Marble Hill, Missouri; five sisters, Deborah Yount of Jackson, Missouri; Katie (Albert) Blumenberg of Jackson, Missouri; Wanda Dees of Jackson, Missouri; Rosemary Cook of Fruitland, Missouri; Beth (Kevin) Werner of Jackson, Missouri; five grandchildren, Mandy Knapp, Brittany (Justin) Scott, Caleb (Chelsey) Gifford, Taylor Lubbers, Sarah Gifford; eight great grandchildren; and many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

Apart from her parents, she was preceded in death by: one daughter: Tammy Gifford; two sisters: Marsha, and Ruby.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Monday, December 12, 2022 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home Chapel at 1:00 pm with Rev. John Ruedrich and Rev. Steve Teague officiating. Burial will follow at the Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
