Scott Michael Pobst

Scott Michael Pobst, son to the late A.J. and Orilla Amanda (Scheeter) Pobst was born on July 2, 1962 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed this life surrounded by his loving family on April 10, 2024 at his home in Oran, Missouri at the age of 61 years.

Scott was a service technician for Halter Gas Company in Oran. He was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4311 in Oran.

He is survived by a son, Mason Pobst of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; a daughter, Mallory Pobst of Oran: a brother, Rick (Vera) Pobst of Oran; a sister, Linda (Mark) Rhodes of Murphysboro, Illinois; a niece, Markie Gott and nephew Jarod Pobst and Steve Mayo.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Parish Prayers will be at 5:00 pm, immediately followed by KC service in the Chapel.

Memorial Mass will be Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 10:00 am, Guardian Angel Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Kelly as celebrant. Burial will follow at the Guardian Angel Cemetery in Oran.
