Sandra Kay Patterson

Sandra Kay Patterson, daughter of Eva Grooms Golightly and the late Hank Golightly was born on June 26, 1948 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed her life on Friday, May 17, 2024 at her residence in Oran, Missouri at the age of 75 years.

She was a former employee of Magna-Tel for 35 years and Oran Hat Factory until her retirement.  Sandra was a member of the United Methodist Church in Chaffee and enjoyed camping spending time with family and being a grandmother was her greatest accomplishment.

On October 20, 1967 she was united in marriage to Leon Patterson in Chaffee.  Mr. Patterson preceded her in death on June 13, 2003.

Survivors include her mother Eva Golightly of Chaffee; one son, Brandon Patterson of Oran; one daughter, Traci (Johnnie) Shands of Oran; three, grandson, Dylan, Dane, and Colin Shands; one granddaughter, Traci Wescoat; two great-granddaughters, Emma and Ella Wescoat; one sister, Nicole Golightly of Cape Girardeau; also, by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 11:00 until 1:00 P.M. in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.  Funeral services will then be conducted at 1:00 PM with Rev. Donny Ford officiating.  Interment will follow in the Forrest Hills Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.
