Rosemary Ross

Rosemary Ross, daughter of the late Theodore Dohogne and Rosalie Klipfel Dohogne was born on March 6, 1935 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed this life at her family farm on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the age of 86 years.

Mrs. Ross was a graduate of Chaffee High School and a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee. She was a Domestic Engineer, avid Gardener, and held many jobs in the Food Service Industry.

On January 9, 1960 she was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Ross in Chaffee. Mr. Ross survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Ted (Julie) Ross of Randals, Missouri and Daryl (Norma) Ross of Oran; by two daughters, Pam (Steve) Fleckenstein of Nashville, Tennessee and Teresa (Tom) Leible of Jackson, one brother, Bobby Dohogne of Cape Girardeau; also, by six grandchildren, Ryan Ross, Elizabeth Ross, Olivia (Dustin) Rhoads, Owen Leible, Katy Fleckenstein, and Eva Fleckenstein.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Jeanette Dohogne; two brother-in-law’s, Tom and Bill Ross; sister-in-law Jo Ann Schwartz; by two nieces, Mary Loos and Robin Ross.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Prayer services will be conducted on Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. Eucharistic Celebration will be conducted on Monday, November, 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Ambrose Church in Chaffee with Father, David Dohogne officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Ambrose cemetery.
