Ronald Ralph Rister

Ronald Ralph Rister, son of Arlie Otis and Bonita Sue Mantel Rister was born on October 31, 1959 in Chaffee, Missouri and departed this life on August 27, 2019 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 59.

He married Charlotte Curd on August 8, 1987 and she survives of the home.

Ronald was a retired tow boat engineer for Waxler Towing for many years.

Besides his wife Charlotte, survivors include; his son, Robert Michael Rister of Sikeston; a step son, Michael (Sarah) Cowell of Chaffee; two step daughters, Bonnie (Shannon) Dannenmueller of Scott City; Lori Cowell of Chaffee; a brother, Rusty (Lana) Rister and a sister, Robin Rister both of Chaffee; seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral services will be on Saturday at 12:00 pm at the Chapel with Rev. Gwen Streeter and Jim Smiley officiating. Interment will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
