Romaine Bud Brown

Romaine  “BUD” Brown Jr.

Bud Brown, son of the late Romaine Brown Sr. and Hazel Fortier Brown was born on November 1, 1948 in Proctor, Vermont and departed this life on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at his residence in Benton, Missouri at the age of 72 years.

Mr. Brown was a former Millwright labor for many years and a resident of Benton, Missouri.

On May 2, 1974 he was united in marriage to Vickie Martin in Fairview, Organ.  Mrs. Brown survivors of the home in Benton.

Besides his wife, other survivors include two sons, Romaine Charlie (Patricia) Brown III (Angela Brown) of Columbus, Ohio and William Brown of Benton, Missouri; by four daughters, Dawn (Aaron) White of Granbury, Texas, Gladys (John Henry) Marie Curtion, Pevely, Missouri, Beulah  (Anthony Andrew Sr.) Dunivan, Benton, Missouri, and Alicia Roberts (Adam) of Jackson, Missouri; two sisters, Hazel Jones of Organ and Charmaine Thomas of Texas; nineteen grandchildren, Garret, Ethan, Lukas, Anthon, Johnny, Kylie, Harley, Nadine, Victoria, Aron, Shane, Vanessa, Ciera, Levi, Katie, Clayton, Olivia, Kinsley, and Lukas, A.J. (Pug); also fourteen great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Fathers Arms Church in Scott City from 10:00 until 11:00 with a Memorial Service being held at 11:00 A.M. in the Fathers Arms Church with Rev. Kenny Strong officiating.
