Roger Dale Simpson Roger Dale Simpson, son of the late Thomas “Lewis” Simpson and Alvia (Cooper) Simpson was born on January 5, 1947 in Chaffee, Missouri and departed his life on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at his residence in Scott City, Missouri at the age of 76 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a former security Guard for Wolsey Security Company and Westlake Rock Quarry. Mr. Simpson was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church and a resident of Scott City. On July 20, 1992 he was united in marriage to Barbara Wilson in Benton, Missouri. Mrs. Simpson survives of the home. Besides his wife, survivors include two sons, Thomas Simpson of Cape Girardeau and Brian (Jennifer) Wilson of Old Appleton, Missouri; one brother, Jack Simpson of Chaffee; two grandchildren, Stephen Willson and Taylor Wilson; one step-granddaughter, Brooke Smith; one adopted granddaughter, Olivia Seabaugh; also, by many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, November 13, 2023 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri at 1:00 P.M. with Rev.
