Roger Held

Roger Dale Held, 66 of McClure, Illinois died Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at his home. He was born August 27, 1952 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Edwin David and Anna Lee Hale Held. He married Dianna McCain on December 18, 1972 and she survives of Jackson.

Roger was an iron worker and a fearless Harley rider. He was a man who loved his girls beyond measure and lived life to the fullest.

He is also survived by three daughters, Lisa Held of Anna, Illinois, Jaime (Nathan) Wills of McClure, Illinois and Stacy (David) Mathey of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri; six sisters, Carolyn Dinwiddie, Linda Matlock and Donna Froggatt all of Scott City, Missouri, Phyllis Miller of Chaffee, Missouri, Cathy Medford of Benton and Debbie Gullett of Jackson, Missouri; nine grandchildren and a great grandson on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am on Saturday until the time of service at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

Memorial service will be at noon on Saturday at the chapel.
