Robert  “BOB” Perkins

Robert Perkins, son of the late Dave Perkins and Ruby (Webster) Clark     was born on July 4, 1953 in Terre Haute, Indiana and departed his life on Friday, February 23, 2024 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 70.

He retired from Missouri Dry Dock in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and attended the Church of Morley.

On January 3, 1976 he was united in marriage to Kathryn Sue Clark in Scott City, Missouri.  Mrs. Perkins preceded him in death on June 21, 2020.

Survivors include one daughter, Jackie (Eric) Schafer of Salem, Missouri; two sons, Kenny Scott of Scott City and David (Denise) Perkins of Merced, California; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren with one on the way.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Traci Owen.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 pm Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Doug Sikes officiating.  Interment will follow in the Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
