Robert Killian

Robert Dale Killian, 66 of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Thursday, October 6, 2022 at his home.  He was born March 4, 1956 in Cape Girardeau to John Russell and Jewell Eveline Carter Killian.  He married Cindy Boyett and she survives.

He was a laborer for Union Local 1104.  He was a 1974 graduate of Scott City High School where he was an all-state football player.

He is survived by three sons, Matthew (Brandi) Killian of Cape Girardeau, Brandon (Amy) Killian of Newport News, Virginia and Andrew (Miranda) Killian of Kelso; four brothers, Arnold (Connie) Killian and Steve (Beckie) Killian of Scott City, Eddie (Ruth) Killian of New Bloomfield, Missouri and Jim (Brenda) Killian of Shelton, Washington; a sister, Evelyn Buffington of Scott City and sixteen grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Steven Mayfield.

Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Memorial service will be at 7:00 pm on Monday at the chapel with Rev. Fred Burgard.
