Robert M. Hagan Sr.

Robert Hagan Sr., son of the late Omer Hagan and Edna Held Hagan was born on October 1, 1930 in Illmo, Missouri and departed this life on Friday July 24, 2020 at the Chaffee Nursing Home in Chaffee, Missouri at the age 89.

Mr. Hagan was a Veteran of the United States Army, former employee of Pevely and Borden’s, worked on the family farm, and a resident of Scott City, Missouri.

On June 26, 1952 he was united in marriage to Helen Maurine Crader. Mrs. Hagan preceded him in death on March 11, 2013.

Survivors include one son, Robert Hagan Jr. of Chaffee, Missouri; three daughters, Darlene Seyer and Ruth Meier both of Jackson, Missouri, Sherry Haidar of Fenton, Missouri; one brother, Larry Hagan of Scott City; one sister, Gussie Essner of Jackson, Missouri; five granddaughters and 2 grandsons; also, by eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M. at the Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City. Funeral services will then be conducted on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. in the Eisleben Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in the Eisleben Lutheran Cemetery with full military rites.
