Ricky Alan Nance

Ricky Nance, son of the late Truman Nance Jr. and Evelyn Blumenburg Nance was born on May 18, 1966 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed his life on Thursday July 16, 2020 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 54.

Ricky was a former employee at Sandy’s Place in Cape Girardeau, member of the First Baptist Church in Whitewater, and a resident of Whitewater, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to LaWanda Carolyn Robinson on July 1, 1999 in Paducah, Kentucky. Mrs. Nance preceded him in death in 2004.

Survivors include two sons, Nick Nance of Cape Girardeau and Joey Barlow of Delta, Missouri; two brothers, Mike Anderson of Whitewater and Doug Anderson (Amy) of Murphysboro, Illinois; by three sisters, Pam Martin (Frank) of Delta, Cindy Stroder (Rocky) of Oak Ridge, Missouri, and Tori Miller (Kendall) of Whitewater, Missouri; also by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 until 1:00 on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.  Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Phil Berry officiating.  Interment will follow in the Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
