Ricky Moore

Ricky Joe Moore, 65 of Benton, Missouri died Monday, June 3, 2024 at his home.  He was born January 16, 1959 in Alton, Illinois to Anna Vincent.  He married Vanessa I Horton on July 3, 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He worked for Proctor & Gamble for 25 years as a millwright.  He enjoyed spending time with his kids, boating, trips to the beach and riding his Harley Davidson.

He is survived by five sons, Chris (Della) Moore of Jackson, Missouri, David (Nadine) Engen of Lockhart, Texas, Ricky (Brandi) Geisert of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Billy (Elizabeth) Geisert of Owensville, Indiana and Steve (Angela) Horton of Briggsdale, Colorado; Two daughters, Alissa Moore of Berthoud, Colorado, Monica Muehifelt of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a brother, Gary Moore of Fenton, Missouri; three sisters, Joyce (Glenn) Smay of Cottage Hills, Illinois, Patty King of Independence, Missouri, P.J. (Mike) Green of Colorado; sister-in-law, Gracie Moore of Brighton, Illinois; 24 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Vanessa on September 21, 2022; his mother; a son, Steven A. Moore and a brother, Eugene Moore.

Memorial visitation will be from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm on Monday, June 10 at the Unity Baptist Church in Benton, Missouri.

Memorial service will be at 12:00 pm on Monday at the church with Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating.
