Richard Minner

Richard Minner, son of the late William Minner and Marie Regan Minner was born on February 12, 1948 in Risco, Missouri and departed his life on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 74 years. He was a former Delta Concrete Truck Driver, Veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Vietnam Conflict, and a resident of Scott City, Missouri. On April 27, 1991 he was united in marriage to Patty Gray. Mrs. Minner survives of the home in Scott City. Besides his wife, other survivors include three sons, Michael Minner of Oregon, Robert Blankenship of Chaffee, and Cody Minner of Scott City; by seven daughters, Sandy Robison of Chaffee, Lisa Daly of Cape Girardeau, Dianna Minner and Heather Minner both of Gulf Port, Christina Joyce of Benton, Becky Minner of New Hamburg, and Leslie Allgood of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Robin Minner of Charleston; one sister Terri King of Jackson; twenty-nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters, and one grandson, Jacob Minner. Memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
