Richard Steven Freeman II
Richard Steven Freeman II, son of the late Steven Freeman and Deborah (Jeff Darnell) Freeman was born April 12, 1981in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed his life on July 8, 2023 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri at the age of 42.
On January 30, 2021 he married Lillian Seabaugh in Jackson, Missouri. She survives.
Mr. Freeman loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, creek walking and collecting rocks. He was a truckdriver for over ten years and also a union roofer for over ten years. He never met a stranger he didn’t like, was very outgoing. He was a very caring individual and was very family oriented.
Also surviving apart from his wife and mother are one son: Jacob Freeman of Jackson, Missouri; one daughter: Brianna Freeman of Jackson, Missouri; two step sons: Garrett (Wynter) Seabaugh-Miller of Whitewater, Missouri, Wrangler Mayfield of Patton, Missouri; one step-daughter: Mahala (Trevor) Turner of Patton, Missouri; three grandchildren, Sophie, Harper and Hallie Turner; two sisters: Starla Ricks, Christian (Ashley) Freeman; one step sister: Ashley Darnell; one step brother Lloyd Darnell; ten nieces and nephews: Carmen Alejandro, David Alejandro, Harmonie McGee, Darius Johnson, Carly Wood, Anna Carlisle, Jesse Riegert, Freya Dawn, Kimberly Seabaugh, Kara Milam ; one great nephew: Hudson McGee; his father-in-law: Larry Seabaugh; and one sister-in-law: Mary Beth (Bob) Milam.
Apart from his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Boyce and Barbara Freeman, Johnny and Ellen Kiefer; his mother – in-law: Mary Edna Seabaugh one brother-in-law: Clark Seabaugh; several aunts and uncles
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
