Rebecca Guzman

Rebecca Guzman, daughter to Kenny Menz and Mary Jo Ressel was born on January 20, 1973 in Cape Girardeau and departed this life on November 6, 2021 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau at the age of 48 years.

She married Tracy Guzman on September 21, 1994 at Morley Baptist Church. He survives of the home.

She graduated Oran High School and went on to graduate form SEMO Hospital College of Nursing and Health Sciences as a Surgical Tech. Becky was a stay-at-home mom and was well known for her humor, kindness and beautiful smile. She was a strong Christian who loved the Lord and her family. Becky’s daughter Brandy was the light of her life.

She is survived by her loving husband Tracy Guzman and daughter, Brandy Guzman both of Oran; two brothers Jason Prince and Justin Prince both of Springfield, Missouri; two sisters, Julie (Michael) Marcum of Cape Girardeau; Jessica (CW) Stacy of Marble Hill, Missouri; maternal grandmother, Doris Ressel of Oran.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Jo Ressel; maternal grandfather, Herman Ressel; Paternal grandfather and grandmother, Robby and Vivian Menz.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. - Noon at Faith Family Church in Painton, Missouri. Funeral Service will be at Church at noon with Rev. Don Jolliff officiating. Burial to follow at Williams Cemetery in Perkins, Missouri.
