Raymond T. Summers

Raymond Summers son the late Gene D. Summers Sr. and Dorothy Bedient was born on November 20, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 59 years.
Raymond was a former security agent with Whelan security in St. Louis, Missouri for many years and a resident of Chaffee.
On December 3, 1975 he was united in marriage to Pearl Champ in St. Louis, Missouri. Mrs. Summers survives of the home in Chaffee.
Besides his wife, other survivors include one son, Gene Summers of Delta, Missouri; three daughters, Selma Lutes of Scopus, Missouri, Georgia Summers of Chaffee, and Pearl Rennick of Springfield, Missouri; three brothers, Dean Summers and James Summers both of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Leon Summers of Fisk; one sister, Donna Ethridge of Poplar Bluff; also by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by on brother.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Gravesides services will then be conducted on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Kenyon Cemetery in Delta. Interment will follow at Kenyon Cemetery.

In Lieu of flower donations may be made to Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel to help aide in the funeral expenses.
