Ralph Roth

Ralph Leon Roth, son of the late Ernest and Marie (Walter) Roth was born November 6, 1938 in Scott City, Missouri and departed his life on Sunday, July 30th, 2023 surrounded by family at his residence in Scott City, Missouri at the age of 84 years.

Mr. Roth had served in the Army Reserves. He had worked at Florsheim Shoe Company for over forty years then he owned and operated Roth Hardware in Scott City for fifteen years.

On July 1, 1967 he married Joyce Sander at the Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City, Missouri. She survives.

Also surviving are three sons: Scott (Michelle) Roth of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Greg (Nancy) Roth of Scott City, Missouri, Austin Roth of Scott City, Missouri; one daughter: Angela (Charles) Bond of Scott City, Missouri; two brothers: Richard (Doris) Roth of Scott City, Missouri, Franklin (Annette) Roth of Scott City, Missouri; two sisters: Rose Marie Kassel of Frohna, Missouri, Ernestine (Melvin) Roth of Wittenberg, Missouri; five grandchildren: Sierra Roth, Michael Roth, Destin Roth, Bethany Jung, and Kaitlynn Roth;  one great-grandson: Grayson; and many nieces and nephews.

Apart from his parents he was preceded in death by one brother: Donald Roth.

There will be a private family celebration of life at a later date.
