Peggy Jo Reed, 64 of Scott City, Missouri died Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at her home. She was born November 3, 1954 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Gene and Maxine Hinton Reed.

She was a member of the Illmo United Methodist Church in Scott City. Peggy loved to travel and had visited almost all 50 states.

She is survived by her mother, Maxine Reed of Scott City; three sisters, Dorothy Taylor of Fenton, Missouri, Kay (Gary) Young of St. Charles, Missouri and Sally (Tim) Porch of Scott City; six nieces & nephews; fourteen great nieces & nephews and a great-great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her father and a nephew.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of service on Sunday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday at the chapel with Rev. Jim Woeltje officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

In lieu of flowers memorials may go to the Illmo United Methodist Church.
