Peggy S. Daniels

Peggy Sue Daniels, 76, of St. Peters, MO and formerly of Scott City, MO passed away peacefully on April 8th, 2025 at Lake St. Louis Hospital. She was born on August 18, 1948 in Berkeley, MO to Dorothy Newlin Fowler and Albert "Jay" Fowler. She graduated from Berkeley High School in 1967. She worked as a nurse's assistant in both the orthopedic and chemical dependency department at St. Francis Medical Center for many years. She worked at Mcdonald Douglas Aircraft in St Louis, MO as a line technician. She was a member of the Free Gospel Church in Scott City, MO. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Peggy is survived by her two children: Scott McCormack of St. Peters, MO and Robin Daniels Norwood of Cape Girardeau, MO; Her brother Jerry Lee Fowler of Scott City; 5 grandchildren: Logan Trankle, Arlena Cameron, Matthew Cameron Sr, Marcus Cole, and Jackson McCormack; 14 great grandchildren: Makenna, Sylas, Zaiden, Emma, Rylan, Lucas, Matthew Jr, Leah, Isaac, Makayla, Waylon, Amelia, Nova, and Olivia; 3 nieces and 3 nephews; Life long best friend Connie Keller.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents; her sister Janey Griffith; 3 brothers John Fowler, Jimmy Joe Fowler, baby Jay Fowler; 3 nephews Joshua Fowler, Joey Fowler, baby McKinsey; Her significant other Richard Bethel.

There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 15th at 1:00 pm at Lightner's Cemetery in Scott City, MO. Memorial donations can be made to Amick Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Pastor Cletus Glueck and Pastor Larry Taylor will officiate the service. The pallbearers will be Scott McCormack, Matthew Cameron Sr, Marcus Cole, Luke Trankle, Andrew Goodwin, and Justin Keller.
