Paula Kaye Menzel

Paula Menzel, daughter of the late Aubrey “Jack” and Peggy Louise (Brindley) Whorton was born on April 3, 1961 in Chaffee, Missouri and departed her life on October 31, 2023 at Southeast Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 62.

She was of the Baptist Faith and a homemaker.  She was a former resident of Wright City, Missouri before returning to Oran one month ago.

Paula was united in marriage to Darryl Menzel.  He preceded her in death as well as her daughter, Raechel Ather Menzel.

Survivors include two sisters, Cheryl (Craig) Politte of Winfield, Missouri and Bonita (Bryan) Boston of St. Charles, Missouri; one brother Rick (Sally) Whorton of O’Fallon, Missouri; also, by other relatives and friends.

Besides her husband, daughter and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Madigan.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 8:30 until 10:00 AM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.  Funeral services will then be conducted at 10:00 AM with Rev. Danny Freeland officiating.  Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Highland, Illinois.
