Paula Lee Klingeman, daughter of the late Gerald Lee and Betty Lou Houchins was born on February 15, 1953 in Moberly, Missouri and gained her wings on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau at the age of 68.
Paula, her husband William and daughter Kelly have owned and Operated K-way Express Inc. since January of 1991.
She enjoyed time with her family and had a deep love for animals. She raised Yorkshire Terriers and Australian Cattle Dogs. Showing them all over the country. Mrs. Klingeman also loved horseback riding, and loved to shop at thrift stores, Walmart, and Pink.
On January 18, 1969 she married William Wayne Klingeman in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He survives the home.
Besides her husband, survivors include four children: Kimberly Ann (Dan) Caldwell of Troy, Missouri, William Curtis (Amy) Klingeman of Kelso, Missouri, Kelly Jean (Chris Davis) Klingeman of Scott City, Missouri, Thomas Andrew (Jennifer) Klingeman of Pevely, Missouri; nine grandchildren: Rachel Caldwell, Clay Caldwell, Dylan Klingeman, Chase Welch, William Klingeman, Madison Klingeman, Christian Davis, Makenzie Klingeman, Desmond Klingeman; one brother: Jerry “Shorty” Houchins, and one faithful loving Golden Doodle: Pierre
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister: Jeraldine Johnson, and one niece: Jerrica Houchins.
There will be a private family service at a later date. Family requests any flowers be sent to Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
